X19 service update – what you need to know

3 weeks ago Fri 8th May 2026

The X19 Stagecoach bus service is now operated by West Coast Motors on behalf of Stagecoach.

Heres what you need to know about how this change affects your service.

Timetable

There are no changes to the X19 timetable. Services will continue to run as normal.

Live tracking

Customers can now track the X19 in real time on the West Coast Motors app or website

(Please note, at this time the X19 is not live tracked on the Stagecoach app).

Tickets

From Monday 18 May, a selection of Stagecoach Glasgow City tickets can be purchased on the West Coast Motors app for use on the X19.

All X19 tickets are still available to purchase on the Stagecoach app, so customers can use either app to buy their ticket.

Tripper tickets will now scan correctly on the X19.

Ticket validity

Please make sure you have the correct ticket before travelling.

X19 tickets are valid on the X19 service only.

Tickets for other West Coast Motors services cannot be used on the X19, and X19 tickets cannot be used on other West Coast Motors routes.

Cross-network travel using the wrong ticket type is not permitted.

Vehicles

West Coast Motors will operate Stagecoach buses on service X19. If there are any operational issues with Stagecoach vehicles, West Coast Motors vehicles may be used on some journeys.

We apologise if this causes any confusion. All bus journeys, regardless of vehicle, can be tracked using the West Coast Motors app or website.

Customer enquiries

For general enquiries, feedback or complaints about the X19, please continue to contact Stagecoach Customer Services. Stagecoach remains the main customer contact for this service.
